A record of my fabric and pattern collection (which I sometimes use) and what I do with any spare time I have.
Ohhhhh! This should be a beauty - have you been before? What type of fabric do they have - is it worth the trip from out my way, straight from work????
Oh Judith it is SO worth it. I have been going to this fabric sale for over 20 years (hence my stash!), but it is all top quality fabrics and it is normally about $8 per metre. The fabrics can be linens, cottons, silks, wools etc and many are European fabrics. Great value. I don't need anything but I will still go!
OK! You have twisted my arm to head out to this sale - what day/time are you planning on being there and I will try to make the same time...J
Oh I thought of that Judith.... I will check my diary as they say... you would be working on the Friday won't you? Will let you know.
So glad it is on until 8 on Thursday. I check my diary and I have a literacy committee meeting after school. I have only used one piece from last year so far, and I plan to make more money with me this time. Last year I could have spent heaps. Thanks for posting this up.
Pleasure! You know I have Italian linens I haven't used for 20 years! I have plans for some though.
Thank you for posting this. I have put it in my diary ... last thing I need is more fabric though :-)
How exciting to see another Brisbane blogger! I haven't seen your blog before but I like it! Thanks for the comment, I hope you make it... I don't need any either but that hasn't stopped me for 25 years!!
Oh I'm envious! Is this sale every year? I have a very dear friend in Brisbane I love visiting, you see :-)
It's on nearly every year but not on a regular basis... I think last time it was in February. It's normally about a months notice. Maybe your friend could go for you??
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I love hearing what you think.
