Although, at least having a heap of oil on the machine probably helped preserve the innards of the machine.<br />Well done with your clean out for the garage sale. I have never had my machine serviced, not once. It is a Janome (similar to the Heart Truth) but really a Kenmore. I really should take it in next year. I am guessing that helps?
